I always wanted to give gifts that I personally make. When I had my 23rd birthday ( I think ) I gave my friends some party giveaways, a candle holder with their name. I love the idea that the things I gave them is from my "crafty little mind" and made by my "crafty little hand". And it is very nice to hear them say "Really you did this?" and things like, "This is so beautiful!"
So my friends' birthday is like two weeks over, because it was a holiday, I'm too busy to do her a nice gift. But I thought better late than never, right? so, I made her one craft that popped my mind. She likes butterfly, so I decided to make it with the first letter of her name.
First here is my inspiration, that is why I ended up with this project.
Butterfly Ombre Heart
So I bought:
1. Craft Puncher (butterfly, approximately 1cm)
fold it
2. 3 colored paper (in different shades)
actually I have a cream, pink, and passionate pink because I cannot find better shades of pink
3. glue gun and glue stick
4. styro foam for the letter D (or you want a wood letter)
5. paint ( styro paint :) )
It is better if you glue the butterfly in different directions. It would look nicer. Look at what I did at the lower part, they seemed to be falling in line :) . If you place it in different directions, they would seem like flying everywhere :) .
